For the real estate agent who is our hero - just like the engine that could - and did! Awesome! Colin served as a buyer's agent for us when we relocated to Dayton from N. Carolina. He demonstrated great listening skills, kept to our budget, was patient and knew a great deal about the local housing market that he used to our advantage. Initially we thought he might not be enough "bulldog" to negotiate as strongly as we hoped for the house we bid on. But he proved that his negotiating skills were excellent and that he had nerves of steel when needed in dealing with the seller. He gave us good recommendations on inspectors for radon, plumbing, chimney, etc. and helped us find a good roofer as we knew we needed a new roof immediately. Colin encouraged us to make a low bid on a house we thought out of our range, but that had been on the market more than a year. Skillful negotiating made it a successful offer. Colin was very personable, professional and effective for us as a buyers agent. We felt he maintained information privacy very well and did not give any information that would have disadvantaged us in the negotiations. Having raised five kids and survived, he and Nancy have a great sense of humor and patience with people of all kinds. We not only got great service, but we got it from a very nice man.
